Killiney Beach

Sea Fishing

A long, steep storm beach of shingle and sand sweeping along Killiney Bay on Dublin's southern fringe, backed by the coastal railway and easily reached from Killiney village. The deep water close in makes it a productive bass and flounder venue after dark, with codling and coalfish through the colder months and mackerel arriving in summer. It fishes best into a gentle onshore breeze over a flooding tide.
