Red Rock, Sutton
Sea FishingMixed rock and sand marks below Red Rock on the western shoulder of Howth, reached on foot from Sutton. The rough ground holds wrasse, coalfish and pollack, with codling and flounder over the cleaner patches and mackerel off the rocks in summer. Care is needed on slippery, weed-covered rock and a close eye should be kept on the flooding tide.
