Skerries

Sea Fishing

The harbour, piers and rocky shoreline around Skerries provide varied fishing within easy reach of the town. Coalfish, pollack and wrasse hold around the rough ground and pier walls, codling and flounder show over the cleaner patches, and mackerel run in summer. The harbour and South Strand are good, accessible starting points.
